So, you're probably curious about the changes made to the lineup. While some models go into the new year without any changes, you won't find the Toyota Tundra listed among them. The full-size Toyota truck comes with all-new features, technology, and more, providing you with a ride like never before.
Performance: In previous years, the Toyota Tundra was standard with one engine option, but the new model year offers two powertrain choices while ditching the V8 capability. The twin-turbocharged i-FORCE engine delivers 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the available hybrid V6 i-FORCE MAX powertrain increases engine performance to 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet, respectively. A 10-speed automatic transmission provides a smooth transition between gears for both powertrain options.
Capability: With new engines comes a new way to tow and haul your gear to the next worksite. When properly equipped, the new Toyota Tundra can tow a maximum of 12,000 pounds, putting it on par with many of its competitors. The cargo bed provides enough room to hold up to 1,940 pounds of supplies and more. With a more refined coil-spring rear suspension, you'll enjoy improved handling and a smoother ride. All models offer four-wheel drive for better traction control on bumpy road conditions. Available features like Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control allow you to take your adventures off-road with little fear!
